Why does the right front speaker on my Sony home theater system hum?

I have a Sony Component Home Theater System HT-DDW700 and the right front speaker hums when I try to watch DVDs…but only when the DVD player is on. The speaker is normal when watching television and listening to the radio. Can anyone please tell me why?
