What is the difference between these two Sony Bravia TV’s?

Sony 40 in. Class LCD Integrated HDTV / Sony Bravia

I don’t play any video games and I don’t watch much sports but I will have an HD cable box. Which is better for me? What is the difference anyway?

you didn’t give us the model numbers. most cable HD broadcasts are in 720p/1080i so either will work. you don’t need 1080p unless you’re going to be watching Bluray.

Yeah, without the numbers its hard to compare. It sounds like the top tv is going to be better. But for your purposes, it shouldn’t matter.
